Synopsis: South Dakota manufacturer gears up a video to raise its profile

Challenge: Improve the profile of a company over 100 years old, located in South Dakota, with manufacturing technology that is extremely modern and sophisticated.

Background:
Hub City manufactures gear reducers for industrial OEMs and the replacement market, throughout the U.S. They have hundreds of distribution centers and needed a video to showcase their broad capabilities in engineering, manufacturing and service.

Production Values:
IBT Media produced this project in HD and finished it in Standard Definition. We covered three locations in a short time, using the IBT company jet. We also conducted nearly one dozen on camera interviews. We also shot manufacturing and research and covered every aspect of their business.

Highlights:
Effective use of archival photographs from the company's early history was blended in to shots of high-tech CNC metal working machinery. The numerous interviews, interspersed with the dramatic scenes of industrial process, produced a balanced and fast-moving overview of a dynamic company.

Results:
Successful deployment of this new tool has achieved impact both inside and outside the organization.
