Synopsis: Animal health leader uses humor for serious purposes
Challenge: Kick-off company United Way solicitation program. Background: Bayer Animal Health has a Shawnee, Kansas location that produces veterinary pharmaceuticals. Always active in civic affairs, the company wanted to get its work force involved in United Way's annual campaign. Production Values: IBT media provided the element of humor to the serious situation of charitable involvement. To do so, we shot a spoof of the classic movie Caddie Shack using Bayer employees. Highlights: Employees rose to the occasion and there were several star turns by people not previously recognized as humorous. Comedy worked for this organization, and the message was clearly understood. Results: The video was a big hit and well received. Sign-ups for the United Way campaign exceeded prior years. |
